Boundaries! What rings in your head when you hear the word boundary? Irrespective of what has popped in your mind as you read this, remember that, no matter how kind an individual you believe you are, boundaries are essential in your life.

It is necessary that we all have boundaries in place if we want to experience healthy relationships! It’s a safeguard mechanisms.

A boundary means setting a line/limit or drawing the line within every context of  relationship (professional, family,  friendship, business, etc)…  Psychologists have classified boundaries into six parts. These include physical,  emotional, time,  intellectual, sexual and material. Having these boundaries is very crucial for your all-round wellbeing!

Without boundaries, it is easy to disregard your own value, time, needs, desires, limits and those of others too! This can lead to toxic relationships.

Without boundaries, every Tom, Dick & Harry will have a field play in your life!

If you struggle to maintain boundaries because you believe people will label you unkind, I would like you to know that having ‘BOUNDARIES’ does not connote wickedness! You’re not mean because you have set boundaries! Even the word admonishes us that we should ‘guard our hearts with all diligence… and that we should ‘ be wise as serpents but be gentle/harmless as a dove…’ Now, those are boundaries!

Love and Blessings,

PS: I’d recommend Boundaries book series by 2 psychologists I respect – Drs Henry Cloud and John Townsend!

Have Faith…Be Intentional…Be Disciplined… Be Relentless…

One day, the world will wake up and hear of your greatness!
Even if you started from the bottom, don’t intend to stay there! Be relentless about achieving your purpose! There’s more to you than what you, they see right now!

In the process….challenges will come, you may have to do some odd jobs to, “keep body inside clothes”, like Krio people would say. Some may laugh at you thinking you have come to your wit’s end… but if you have faith, are intentional, relentless and disciplined, there’s nothing you can’t achieve! Ask me, as a child, life was bliss! As an adult, I have had lots of fights, but I’m not the one to ever give up on the 1st, 2nd or 3rd go unless it’s DIY, even with IKEA’s simplest drawers (yeah…😂)

I believe on working smart and achieving purpose.
Forget about whether people ‘support’ you or not! With God on your side, you’re more than a conqueror!

Go on and be intentional about not staying at the bottom!!! Have Faith…Be Disciplined. Be Relentless…

Proverbs 13:4

“The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, but the soul of the diligent is made fat.”

Enjoy the month of my birth!

Go and Be great!

Welcome to a New Year! The past year has been challenging for many of us, however, we would not let it stand in the way of our greatness this year.

No matter what you have been through, life is giving you another opportunity to be great. And whilst you’re on your journey to greatness, remember that you do not have to be great to get started, but you have to get started in order to be great as Les Brown puts it.

The human mind is like a piece of land in the hands of a farmer. It does not care what you plant in it. It will return what you plant. What are you planting on your piece of land?

On the way to greatness, you can either plant success or failure. Whatever you plant, remember that that it is what you will yield during harvest. Now go on and plant; go and be great because above all things, God wishes that you prosper and be in good health just as your soul prospers! Blessed New Year!

Time Is…

The moment I truly realised that time is for learning, time is for building, time is for growing, time is for making money, time is for knowledge acquisition, time is for doing things to stay healthy body, soul & mind, I stopped wasting time on frivolous things & people who add little or no value to time!

Be so busy achieving your goals, living your dreams, building your empire, serving in love, making your money, so that at the end of the day, you will be proud that you used your time effectively!

What are you doing with time? How well are you using time? Like the popular adage says, ‘ time waits for no man’! Use it wisely. Use it well.

Dear Black Brethren

Dear Black Brethren,

As we fight for the cause Black Lives Matter, let’s also remember to truly love our black brethren.

It’s high time to stop putting each other down because one is succeeding…

To stop framing one because you want their job…

To stop bad-mouthing others because they are progressing…

To stop hating your fellow brethren out of jealousy and envy…

To stop tearing down the one who is striving so hard to climb higher…

To stop using diabolical means to destroy others for no obvious reason…

Let’s truly love ourselves because our Black Lives Matter!

Fear not…Be Still…

Nations are mourning, cities on lockdown, people running helter skelter on panic-mode and in hopes of survival, dead bodies laid in hospitals, churches and mortuaries. Simply put, life as it was is no longer the same.

The emergence of the corona virus, also known as COVID-19 has severely impacted not just the health of of hundreds of thousands, but the economy, the educational system and more.

Amidst all these, it is so easy to become wrapped up in fear, anxiety and depression. But, if you’re reading this, I want to encourage you to fear not, for Emmanuel is still with us. His grace is extended to us everyday and He will continually shield us. Even though we will have tribulations and troubles in this world, we must take heart knowing that He has overcome the world (John 16.33).

Just as the angel of death passed through the land of Egypt and struck down the firstborn of every household but spared homes that been marked with blood, so shall this plague pass over our homes. Believe! Be still and know that He is God. Even in times of trouble, He is still God with us!

Love and Blessings,
